Terms of service
Last updated: 17 October 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to Padem. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our website, online store, products, and related services.
In these terms, “Padem,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the Padem online store. “You” and “your” refer to anyone visiting our website, placing an order, or using our services.
By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to comply with these terms and any policies incorporated into them, including our Privacy Policy, Refund and Returns Policy, Shipping Policy, and Payment Policy.
Please read these terms carefully before using our website. If you do not agree with a provision that applies to your use of the website, you should not use the affected service.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
2. Eligibility and Use of Our Website
You must have the legal capacity to enter into a purchase contract under applicable law to place an order.
If you use the website on behalf of another individual or organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to act on their behalf.
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or interfere with the operation of our services.
You must not:
-
Use our website for fraudulent or unlawful transactions.
-
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or accounts.
-
Interfere with website security or normal operation.
-
Submit false, misleading, or intentionally inaccurate order information.
-
Introduce malicious code or other harmful material.
-
Copy, exploit, or misuse website content in violation of applicable rights.
-
Use automated methods to access or collect website information in a manner that breaches applicable law or our reasonable technical restrictions.
We reserve the right to take reasonable action against misuse, subject to applicable law.
3. Products and Descriptions
Padem offers women's clothing through its online store.
We aim to display product descriptions, photographs, colours, sizes, materials, prices, and other relevant information as accurately as reasonably possible.
However, colours may appear differently depending on your screen, device settings, lighting, and display technology. Product photographs may also show styling combinations or accessories that are not included with the purchased item. The applicable product description and order confirmation should be reviewed before purchasing.
We do not guarantee that every product will be available at all times. Stock levels, product selections, sizes, and colours may change.
Nothing in this section permits us to supply products that do not conform to the applicable contract or to exclude remedies available under consumer law.
4. Prices and Product Availability
Prices are displayed in the currency indicated on the website or at checkout.
Unless otherwise stated, prices and applicable delivery charges will be shown before you complete your order. Standard UK shipping is free for eligible orders under our Shipping Policy.
We take reasonable care to ensure that prices and product information are accurate. If a material pricing or listing error is identified, we will take appropriate steps to resolve it.
Where an error affects a submitted order, we may contact you to explain the situation and discuss the available options. We will not treat an erroneous price as automatically authorising an undisclosed additional charge.
Product availability is subject to stock and fulfilment conditions. If we cannot fulfil an order after it has been accepted, we will contact you and arrange an appropriate resolution, including a refund where applicable.
5. Orders and Contract Formation
When you submit an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products under the terms displayed at checkout.
An order confirmation acknowledges receipt of your order but does not necessarily mean that the order has been finally accepted for fulfilment.
We may need to verify payment, stock availability, delivery details, or other relevant information before confirming acceptance.
A purchase contract is formed in accordance with the order acceptance process communicated at checkout and applicable law.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where there is a legitimate reason, such as suspected fraud, a material listing error, inability to fulfil the order, or an applicable legal restriction.
If payment has already been taken for an order that we cancel, we will arrange the appropriate refund.
6. Customer Information
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when placing an order.
You are responsible for reviewing your delivery address, contact details, product selection, size, colour, and order quantity before submitting the purchase.
If information changes after an order has been placed, contact us promptly. We will make reasonable efforts to help where changes remain possible.
Our handling of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
7. Payment Terms
Payment must be completed through an available payment method displayed at checkout.
Padem supports PayPal, subject to availability and the terms of the payment service. Additional payment options may be displayed where supported.
By submitting a payment, you confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.
Orders may be subject to payment verification or security checks. If a payment is declined, incomplete, or requires further verification, fulfilment may be delayed until the issue is resolved.
We do not ask customers to disclose their PayPal passwords to our customer service team.
Further information about payment handling is provided in our Payment Policy.
8. Shipping and Delivery
Our standard shipping policy provides free shipping on eligible UK orders, with an estimated handling time of 1–3 business days, transit time of 4–9 days, and overall delivery estimate of approximately 5–12 days, depending on the destination and circumstances.
Delivery estimates are not guarantees unless a specific delivery commitment has been expressly agreed.
We will take reasonable steps to fulfil orders within the applicable period. Our obligations regarding delivery, cancellation, refunds, and remedies remain subject to applicable law.
Please refer to our Shipping Policy for information about tracking, address changes, delayed parcels, and missing deliveries.
9. Returns, Refunds, and Consumer Rights
Padem offers a 30-day return policy for eligible items, with free returns arranged through our customer service team.
Approved refunds are normally processed within 10 days, subject to any shorter deadline required by law. Payment providers may need additional time to display the funds.
Our Refund and Returns Policy explains the applicable procedures and conditions.
UK consumers may have statutory rights under legislation including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, as applicable.
These rights may include rights relating to product quality, conformity with descriptions, delivery, cancellation of distance contracts, and refunds.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or replaces statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
10. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, website content, including branding, text, graphics, layouts, photographs, and other materials, may be protected by intellectual property laws.
You may access and use this content for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes.
You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or commercially exploit protected content without appropriate permission, except where permitted by law.
The names, trademarks, and materials of third parties remain the property of their respective owners.
11. Third-Party Services and Links
Our website may use or link to third-party services, including Shopify, PayPal, delivery providers, and social media platforms.
These services may have separate terms, privacy notices, and operational requirements.
We do not control every aspect of third-party services and cannot guarantee their uninterrupted availability. However, the use of a third-party provider does not automatically remove our contractual or statutory responsibilities to you.
You should review relevant third-party terms where necessary.
12. Website Availability and Errors
We aim to keep our website accessible and functioning properly, but temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical faults, security updates, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue website features where reasonably necessary.
We also reserve the right to correct errors in product information, pricing, or website content, subject to applicable law and any obligations arising from orders already accepted.
Nothing in this section creates an unrestricted right to cancel an existing consumer contract.
13. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
In particular, these terms do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of applicable statutory consumer rights, or other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to the preceding paragraph and applicable law, Padem is not responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable consequences of a breach of contract, or for losses arising solely from a customer's unlawful misuse of the website.
Where the law permits, we are not responsible for independent failures of third-party websites or services beyond our reasonable control. This does not remove any responsibility we have for selecting or managing service providers where applicable.
Nothing in this section reduces your right to seek a remedy for goods that are faulty, misdescribed, or otherwise fail to meet legal requirements.
14. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you may be responsible for losses reasonably arising from your unlawful misuse of our website, infringement of third-party rights, or deliberate violation of these terms.
This provision does not apply where imposing such responsibility would be prohibited by consumer protection law, and it does not make you responsible for losses caused by our own breach or unlawful conduct.
15. Privacy and Data Protection
Our collection and use of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy.
By using our website, you acknowledge that personal information may be processed as necessary to operate the store, fulfil orders, provide customer service, and comply with legal obligations, subject to applicable data protection law.
Where consent is required, we will seek it separately.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business operations, or legal obligations.
The revised terms will be published on this page with an updated date.
Changes will apply as permitted by law. Any change that requires separate notice, consent, or agreement will be handled accordingly. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights already established under a purchase contract where doing so would be unlawful.
17. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the relevant jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections.
For UK consumers, nothing in this section deprives you of the benefit of mandatory protections available under the law applicable to your consumer contract or prevents you from bringing proceedings in a court that has jurisdiction under applicable rules.
If you have a concern about an order, we encourage you to contact us first so that we can attempt to resolve the issue fairly and efficiently.
18. Severability
If a provision of these terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the extent necessary where legally permitted.
The remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent that they remain valid and enforceable.
